While I was still using Avid Liquid as my NLE, I started to make some simple Tutorials to help my fellow users.

Then, in late 2007, I migrated to Avid Media Composer (2.8).
I met a whole new interface and many of the things I knew so well in Liquid no longer seemed to work.
Rather than try and do things the Liquid way I decided that the only correct way to migrate was to start learning MC from scratch and leave behind any Liquid workflows.

At about the same time as I migrated to MC I was trying to learn how to use Camtasia Studio.
It was then that I had a flash of inspiration and decided that using CS to make Video Tutorials to help other Liquid migrants make the change would benefit everyone, myself included.

I made 20 of those Video Tutorials, and soon had "hits" from about 100 countries round the globe.
At that time I was approached by Avid, who were having a promotional campaign to entice Liquid users over to MC, and was asked if they could host my Tutorials on their site.
I agreed happily.
