After having promised a new energised site back in January 2018, and not having delivered on my promise, I am no longer making promises.
BUT . . . . I have been getting back the urge to create new tutorials and also found a new complementary interest in my Parrot Anafi drone.
Learning to fly the Anafi has been taking up a lot of my "free-time".
To the right is an example of standard shot video integrated with drone footage.
The latest firmware update to the Anafi has given me the ability to shoot 360° images while hovering. 360° images is another realm of photography that I have avoided previously. I have never understood the desire to shoot pictures of a 360° view of my surroundings. My eyes don't work like that.
Now I have tested the 360° function for the first time and two results can be seen below. As these are taken from a higher altitude than my eyes can see, I can accept them as a genuine "birds-eye" view. That makes sense to me.
Finally, all we have to do is wait and see if I can fire up my engines and get them back to working at full power again!
