We were asked if we could do a Japanese voice over for one of Boris FX tutorials introducing the latest version of Primatte Studio.
Up to the challenge, we started work in early December and after about 2 weeks we had a version that we could live with. All the technical stuff in creating and replacing the audio track was done by myself. The translation to Japanese was done by Megumi, who also is heard reading the voice-over. If you are curious to view the two versions – here they are. The English one is by Peter McAuley of Boris FX.
Which do you prefer?
Douglas and Megumi
Continuing to help Boris FX with Japanese tutorials for their deeper push into the Japanese market, we have just completed 3 more tutorials.
Well one was similar to our first one, in which we provided a Japanese voice-over to an existing Boris tutorial.
Then we also created the first two original Gaijin-Eyes tutorials for Boris FX in Japanese. In fact I start off the first one by explaining about the Gaijin-Eyes philosophy of teaching people to fish, rather than just giving them fish.
This series on BCC Title Studio will be continuing as we produce more parts.
