TMPGEnc Authoring Works (TAW) & Video Mastering (VMW) Works Collection.
TAW for authoring and VMW for encoding.
This pair of applications are excellent value for speed, versatility and reliability.
The Collection of tutorials have a playing time of 2 hours 29 minutes
The way of working inside of TAW is exactly the same regardless of which NLE has been used to create the files that are imported.
From my previous NLE, Avid Media Composer, I exported Quicktime Reference files which I then imported into TAW.
However, TAW is a stand-alone application and can be used with any NLE's exported files.
In the case of EDIUS I "Export/ Print to File" as either an HQ or an HQX avi file.
Then I import those files into TAW. ( Since making the tutorials I have found that I now prefer exporting AVCHD MP4 files from EDIUS.)
